Our common goal is upbringing of a reading nation. And its hard-core is the young generation, our children and grandchildren. The Mark of Distinction “Gold Pool Of Press” has measured up a new state-of-the-art, winning support of Russian subscription agencies and official recognition of public authorities. The Mark of Distinction “Gold Pool Of Press” is a national social project, aimed at preservation of cultural identity of Russia and strengthening of its cultural and moral values, promotion of the Russian Language, development of the library system, and improving of its efficiency.

Article about “Pushkin’s mountains”, where The 1st Congress of School Libraries took place, was published in the journal “Chitaika” No. 8.
The journal “School Library, No. 6 - 7” was published, dedicated to the results of the 1st Congress of Russian School Librarians, which took place on July 1 through 4 in Pushkinogorie.
